Outcomes of pancreatoduodenectomy in the German DGAV StuDoQ|Pancreas registry – A cross-validation study with the Dutch pancreatic cancer audit

Objectives Multicenter registries facilitate quality and outcome assessment in pancreatic surgery. The Dutch Pancreatic Cancer Audit (DPCA) is externally cross-validated previously and participation is mandatory. The aim of this study was to compare outcome of pancreatoduodenectomy in the recently established German DGAV StuDoQ|Pancreas registry to the DPCA as a means of external data validation.
