Postoperative acute pancreatitis following pancreaticoduodenectomy: a determinant of fistula driven by the intraoperative fluid management

Objectives A standardized definition of post-operative acute pancreatitis (POAP) after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) has been recently proposed, but specific studies are lacking. The aim of the study is to characterize and justify the definition of POAP.
