Total pancreatectomy in patients with «difficult» pancreatic stump

Objectives Pancreatodigestive anastomosis – Achilles'heel of Whipple procedure. Total pancreatectomy (TP) for technical reasons is a viable option according to recent reports from high-volume centers. The aim of this study was to assess short-term results of TP, which was undertaken for treatment of difficult pancreatic stump.
