Difficult diagnosis and localization of multi-focal nesidioblastosis in an adult: Implications of near-infrared intraoperative imaging
Objectives Introduction: Nesidioblastosis in adults is an infrequent cause of hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia. Only 4 cases of the focal form in adults have been published to date. Nesidioblastosis is a real challenge for surgeons, as functional and anatomical imaging are not able to detect and localize it accurately.
