Incidence and Risk Factor of New-Onset Diabetes After Distal Pancreatectomy
Objectives Introduction: The occurrence of new-onset diabetes (NODM) after distal pancreatectomy (DP) has gained interest due to the increasing life expectancy of patients undergoing pancreatic resection. Although some risk factors have been described, the exact contribution of each perioperative variable remains poorly characterized. The study aims to assess the frequency and the risk factors of the development of NODM after DP.
