Singing as an adjunct therapy for children and adults with cystic fibrosis: A Cochrane review summary

For people living with cystic fibrosis (CF), maintaining a daily treatment regime to clear the airways and maintain physical well-being is important and recommended for those with more severe disease. This involves airway clearance techniques and exercise. Complying with a daily treatment regimen is challenging and can have a negative psychosocial impact, particularly among children and adolescents living with CF (D ’Auria et al., 2000; Glasscoe and Quittner, 2008).
