Selective use of radiation for locally advanced rectal cancer: one size does not fit all.

CONCLUSIONS: LARC is a heterogeneous disease with varying risk of relapse. Studies are underway to attempt to individualise care to avoid overtreatment while maintaining excellent oncologic outcomes.
