Relationship between uric acid, proteinuria, and atherogenic index of plasma in renal transplant patients

This study aimed to determine the association of atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) with both hyperurisemia and proteinuria in renal transplant recipient.Material-Methods: Between the years 2015 and 2017, 61 renal transplant recipients with at least 1 years of follow up were included in this retrospective chort study. Uric acid levels of ≥7mg/dL in males and ≥6mg/dL in females were accepted as hyperuricemia. The patients were seperated into groups according to their serum uric acid and AIP levels.
