Improving the health of children and young people: the World Health Organization Global Schools Health Initiative twenty-three years on

Writing an editorial for Public Health requires inspiration in one form or another. Sometimes, Hygiea, the ancient Greek goddess of health and our muse, is kind and there is an obvious candidate topic. But there are times when she is not, and that is when we turn to other sources of inspiration. One of which —for reasons which are lost in the midst of time—is known in the Public Health Editorial Office as the ‘traffic book’. This is the list of articles that are to be included in the volume of the journal for which the Editorial has to be written.
