Subarachnoid hemorrhage in a Japanese cocaine abuser: Cocaine-related sudden death

Meander, extension, and degeneration of the internal elastic lamina of the right anterior cerebral artery (rt-ACA) were observed near the bifurcation from the anterior communicating artery (Acom). This area corresponded macroscopically with that considered to be the bleeding point from the blood vessel.This case was diagnosed as cocaine (COC)-related sudden death.
