Winnie the Pooh was banned because “talking animals are an insult to God.” Diary of Anne Frank banned because it was considered “too depressing.” The Wizard of Oz” banned by all public libraries in Chicago because of its “ungodly influence” for “depicting women in strong leadership roles.” Think about that last one.
