Different meteorological parameters influence metapneumovirus and respiratory syncytial virus activity

The objective of this study was to evaluate the association between respiratory syncytial virus RSV and human metapneumovirus (hMPV) detection in the community and local meteorological conditions. RSV and hMPV are two common viral respiratory pathogens. Both viruses cause a wide range of illnesses, ranging from mild colds to bronchiolitis or pneumonia.
