Isoxazolines

The isoxazolines belong to a novel class of ectoparasiticides introduced in 2015 that inhibit the glutamate and gamma-aminobutyric acid ligand-gated chloride channels at a different site than the fiproles. This has resulted in the rapid adoption of these products among small animal practitioners and companion exotic practitioners for the treatment of a variety of insect and acarid infestations.
