The osteoblast: Linking glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis and hyperglycaemia? A post-hoc analysis of a randomised clinical trial
Glucocorticoids (GCs) induce osteoporosis predominantly by inhibiting osteoblast activity. We hypothesised that osteoblastic factors could also be linked to GC-induced adverse metabolic effects.
