Impact of Korea Network for Organ Sharing Expanded Donor Criteria on Delayed Graft Fuction in Kidney Transplantation: A single-center experience
The shortage of donor organs has been a major challenge in transplantation. In an effort to reduce the donor shortage, kidney transplantation (KT) using expanded criteria donors (ECD) was encouraged. In Korea, transplantation centers used the Korea Network for Organ Sharing (KONOS) ECD criteria, which is different from the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) criteria. The aim of this study is to evaluate the predictive power of KONOS criteria on delayed graft function (DGF) in comparison to UNOS criteria.
