Large Hepatocellular Carcinoma in an Essentially Asymptomatic Young Woman
This article presents a case of a large hepatocellular carcinoma in an essentially asymptomatic young woman in good health. She had no history of any of the traditional risk factors of hepatitis, alcoholism, hepatic fibrosis/cirrhosis, hemochromatosis, or diabetes. Sonographic diagnosis was confirmed by computed tomography–guided biopsy.
