Experience with NexoBrid ® in enzymatic debridement of facial burns

A few weeks ago I felt interested in an article published in this journal in which A. Schulz et al. analyzed the application of NexoBrid ® to facial burns [1]. This special interest was motivated by the fact that in my institution we have extensive experience with the management of NexoBrid® and given the excellent results we were obtaining in the rest of the territories, with all precautions we began to apply it also in the facial territory. After the first favorable case in which there were no complications, we implemented a NexoBrid® application protocol for facial burns since 2015.
