High numbers of firework related injury referrals to the London Burns Service during the recent ‘Bonfire night’ period, is it time for new regulations?

During the recent ‘Bonfire night’ period, the London Burn Service received a high number of firework related burn injuries. This has led us to reflect on the referred cases in the context of national legislation and public health awareness.
