Authors' response to the comments to “Structured pharmacist-led intervention programme to improve medication adherence in COPD patients: A randomized controlled study”

We appreciate the comments by Basu regarding our study on the pharmacist-led intervention program to improve medication adherence in COPD patients.1,2 We agree that future studies could consider examining, more specifically, the impact of pharmacists' intervention on inhalation technique, per se. However, this was neither a part of our study nor could be captured. Regarding purchase of medications for the study subjects, there was no financial support for either group. Although our patients were from the lower socioeconomic strata, they usually arranged their own money to meet their medical expenses.
