Renal complications during pregnancy: In the hypertension spectrum
Elevated blood pressure is one of the most common issues seen in pregnancy affecting approximately 6 –10% of all pregnancies. A history of hypertension during pregnancy is a major risk factor for development of chronic hypertension and doubles the risk for cardiovascular disease.
