Cefuroxime-associated Kounis syndrome with unique peculiarity in perioperative prophylaxis

We report the case of a 37-year-old woman undergoing bilateral sweat gland resection who presented with Kounis syndrome following cefuroxime infusion for perioperative prophylaxis.
