Serotonin Syndrome Following Septal Myectomy in Association With Fentanyl and Methylene Blue: A Case Report
We report a case of serotonin syndrome following septal myectomy in a patient with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. We attribute the emergence of the syndrome to the combined use of a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), fentanyl, methylene blue, bupropion, and herbal supplements.
