Allegro welcomes second intake of aspiring medical writers to fast-track training programme

Following Allegro’s first intake of 15 recruits in January, 13 new Associate Medical Writers will now begin their 12-month development programme. At the end of the programme, recruits will join one of Ashfield’s agency teams in the UK as a Medical Writer.
Ashfield aims to train up to 80 writers a year through Allegro, offering aspiring writers the opportunity to kick-start their career with a global leader in healthcare communications.
Neil Marmont, Allegro’s Programme Director, said: “The 15 Associate Medical Writers who joined Allegro in January have all successfully completed the eight-week training curriculum and are now delivering work for our clients on the first of their agency rotations. We are now looking forward to welcoming the second intake to the programme. We have enhanced the training phase based on the learnings from the first intake, with the initial eight weeks now providing an even better foundation for their careers in healthcare communications.”
