Associations between vitamin D levels and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) phenotypes.

CONCLUSIONS: Vitamin D deficiency occurred more frequently in PCOS cases with androgen excess, but associations were attenuated after adjusting for BMI and race/ethnicity.
