ESC Guidelines in aortic diseases: an impact on medical care ‘well beyond cardiology’

The 2014 ESC Guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment of aortic diseases is the first European document to address comprehensively the acute and chronic diseases of the thoracic and abdominal aorta in adult patients.
