Re: ‘History in health: health promotion's underexplored tool for change’

Madsen's recent work1 exploring the potential utility of history to contribute to health promotion is a welcome addition to an important field of study that can often feel ineffectual in an era of chronic disease. Given the significant impact on mortality, morbidity, and quality of life posed by preventable diseases, examination of any possible tool is opportune.2
