Nuclear protein in testis (NUT) carcinoma diagnosed using only FNA material in the absence of a histological sample

This is a recently described rare, genetically defined aggressive carcinoma arising predominantly in the mid line structures. Here, we refine the cytomorphological features of this rare tumour. Accurate diagnosis is important to inform prognosis and guide management as new and ongoing clinical trials may offer effective treatment in the future.
