CONCLUSIONSIneffective breathing pattern was the most frequently identified; use of accessory muscles, alteration in depth of breathing, abnormal breathing, and dyspnea were the most representative signs/symptoms.
IMPLICATION FOR NURSING PRACTICEEarly recognition of respiratory conditions can support safe interventions to ensure appropriate outcomes.
