Fine versus coarse atrial fibrillation in rheumatic mitral stenosis: The impact of aging and the clinical significance
ConclusionCoarse morphology of AF is common in patients with rheumatic MS. While echocardiographic or most clinical parameters do not seem to associate with the occurrence of coarse or fine morphology, age seems to be the only independent factor correlated with the presence of fine subtype of AF in this population.
