Foreword

In the past 40 years (my life time carrier as a reproductive scientist), reproductive physiology has always been an active research field. Nowadays, this interest may be fading as it is common belief that most of the main reproductive problems can be solved with the existing tools and that training vet students in reproduction is no more a challenge! Despite this belief, there still is a large inflow of scientific manuscripts dedicated to reproduction in scientific journals.
