Severe Insulin Resistance Due to Insulin Antibodies

Abstract Individual reports have discussed cases of severe insulin resistance (IR) secondary to insulin antibodies (IAs) 1, 2, and several methods of treatment have shown some success 3‐5. Here, we reported a 58‐year‐old Chinese woman of a 14‐year history of type 2 diabetes with severe diabetic ketoacidosis by IAs. Informed consent was obtained from the patient.
