Allen and Joanne Banko from Lane Medical Library, Stanford University. Description: This session will feature an overview of metadata identities and relationships, real-life applications demonstrating how Stanford University’s Lane Medical Library staff use metadata to link data within the catalog and library website, helping the user utilize both seamlessly, and how the work behind the scenes helps those on the front end search, identify and find information sought. We will also touch upon ways in which metadata and linked data can be used in the future. This webinar will be available for 1 hour of Medical Library Association (MLA) Continuing Education credit and will be archived for future viewing.
