Comparison of ICare tonometry to Goldman tonometry for the measurement of intraocular pressure changes following intravitreal anti ‐VEGF injection

Abstract In developed countries, age‐related macular degeneration (AMD) is a leading cause of visual impairment, particularly in its neovascular form.1 Intravitreal injection of anti‐vascular endothelial growth factor (anti‐VEGF) is the standard of care for wet AMD. Inspite of the small intravitreal bolus of 0.05ml, many studies have reported a rise in intraocular pressure (IOP) immediately post injection.1‐3
