Patient characteristics predict the effect of bariatric surgery on knee osteoarthritis pain

Bariatric surgery reduces obesity and knee osteoarthritis (OA) pain, but some patients improve more than others. We aimed to identify patient characteristics that predict knee pain reduction in obese patients after bariatric surgery.
