The HLA ‐A30:02~C18:02~B*57:03 African haplotype identified with the deletion of the HLA‐DRB1 gene in individuals from La Réunion Island

Abstract We found a haplotype with the deletion of the HLA‐DRB1 gene in two unrelated individuals originated from La Reunion Island, probably resulting from a deletion in the African haplotype A*30:02 ~ C*18:02 ~ B*57:03~DRB1*13:01.
