The EMBASE screening project: six months old and going strong
The EMBASE screening project went live in February 2014 with a very small group of screeners just to make sure things were working well. After a couple of weeks of testing and tweaking, the full roll-out began with some key Cochrane communications. Within a matter of days more than 100 people signed up to become EMBASE screeners. As of August 2014, 563 people have signed up to the EMBASE screening project, and the team has collectively screened 65761 citations and identified 1944 RCTs.
