Quantifying the Effect of Light Activated Outer and Inner Retinal Inhibitory Pathways on Glutamate Release from Mixed Bipolar Cells

This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. Functional characterization of amacrine cell‐mediated, GABAergic inner retinal and horizontal cell‐mediated, non‐GABAergic outer retinal inhibitory processes was performed by quantifying their efficiency of inhibiting light‐evoked glutamate release from the axon terminals of Mb type bipolar cells at various stimulus intensities.
