Air France Flight Attendants Refusing to Fly to West Africa

Some flight attendants working for Air France are refusing assignments and calling for a suspension of flights to the West African nations of Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Guinea. British Airways and Emirates have already curtailed flights to the region, but Air France is notable as it is the largest European carrier to West Africa. Employment rules covering the flight attendants allow for refusal of assignments if the person feels their health is in immediate or grave danger.
