Authors' response to the comments to “Structured pharmacist-led intervention programme to improve medication adherence in COPD patients: A randomized controlled study”

We appreciate the comments of Basu regarding our study on a pharmacist-led intervention programme to improve medication adhere in COPD patients.1,2 We agree that future studies could consider examining more specifically the impact of pharmacists' intervention on inhalation technique, per se. However, this really was not a part of nor could be captured in our study. Regarding purchase of medications for the study subjects, there was no financial support in either group. Though our patients were from low socioeconomic strata, they usually arrange money to meet medical expenses.
