[Media Watch] Hepatitis E: the first book about a neglected disease

Hepatitis E Virus (Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology), edited by Youchun Wang, gives a detailed overview of the science of hepatitis E. This book is the first to focus on hepatitis E virus (HEV) infections. HEV infection causes a disease with many clinical faces. The features of this disease, caused by HEV genotype (GT) 1 or 2 in developing tropical countries, vary largely from the features in industrialised nations (GT 3 and 4).
