Objective and subjective aesthetic performance of icon ® treatment for enamel hypomineralization lesions in young adolescents: A retrospective single center study

Conclusions On the basis of the present study results, the aesthetic outcome of resin infiltration proved to be highly effective, both with visual qualitative and spectrophotometric quantitative assessment. Clinical relevance statement Hypomineralized enamel colour abnormalities affect patients’ quality of life, therefore tissue preservative cosmetic treatments are requested. An evaluation method of resin infiltration clinical outcome by visual evaluation and spectrophotometry is proposed.
