Genetic polymorphism of 21 non-CODIS STR loci in Chengdu Han Population and its interpopulation analysis between 25 populations in China

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan province, located in Western China, and has a population of approximately 14 million in the 2010 Census[1]. Different minority autonomous prefectures, mainly the Garz ê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, adjacent to Chengdu city. Thus, the populations in Chengdu are mostly composed of Chinese Han population, with minorities of Tibetan, Hui, and Yi ethnic groups. The genetic portrait and population studies based on 21 no n-CODIS STR loci of Chengdu Han population have not been reported.
