Selective Single C(sp3) –F Bond Cleavage in Trifluoromethylarenes: Merging Visible-Light Catalysis with Lewis Acid Activation

We report here the first example of single C(sp3) –F functionalization of trifluoromethylarenes via visible-light catalysis merged with Lewis acid activation.
