Children With Diabetes "Focus on Technology" Conference

By Web Team If you have a child with Type 1 diabetes and are feeling overwhelmed by all the technology that's available to help him manage his condition, then you may be interested in the Children With Diabetes "Focus on Technology" conference, taking place from October 24–26 in Anaheim, California. The conference, which will be located at the Disneyland Hotel, will include top experts in the diabetes industry who can "help you and your family gain a better understanding of the technology currently available to people with Type 1 diabetes, as well as technology which may be coming shortly down the road." There will be scheduled presentations, discussion groups, and meal breaks during which faculty will make themselves available for more personalized discussion. Registration is $125 until October 10, 2014, and $150 thereafter. (Children four and under are free). The registration fee covers conference materials and attendance, shared meals, childcare for potty-trained children age four and under, and one conference t-shirt. Rooms at the Disneyland Hotel are available for $190 plus tax through September 24, 2014, or prior if the room block becomes full. To reserve a room, call (714) 520-5005 or use the online reservation system. To register or learn more about the event, click here.
