ConclusionFamily‐strengthening interventions may be able to reduce the tendency for negative moods and stressors to manifest in more severe marital conflict. ImplicationsPrograms may benefit from explicitly addressing the moods and stressors that individual husbands and wives report experiencing in their daily lives.
