Regional citrate anticoagulation with calcium replacement in pediatric apheresis

ConclusionRunning IV calcium at 1.4 times the inlet flow rate resulted in a lower incidence of hypocalcemia than reported in literature describing other approaches to apheresis. It nearly eliminated episodes of symptomatic hypocalcemia.
