Aspartate aminotransferase activity in peri-implant mucositis: experimental peri-implant mucositis model of 14 days.

CONCLUSIONS: 14 days of plaque accumulation seemed to be sufficient for the establishment of peri- implant mucositis. However, AST did not resulted as a proper indicator of initial peri-implant inflammation.
