Experts: CDC stats on suicide rates for teen girls alarming, action needed

While experts cannot say what specific factors have contributed to the increased suicide rates among teen girls, hitting an all‐time high in 2015, according to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the statistics are alarming and more action is needed toward efforts in preventing suicide in children, teens, and young adults, they said.
