Managing transient ischaemic attacks in Australia: a qualitative study

ConclusionHeterogeneity of TIA management equates with variation from guideline recommendations. However, Australian guidelines may not be practicable due to variability in access to secondary-care specialists. Future models of care should consider systems approaches such as telemedicine to promote collaboration and assist GPs to comply with guidelines.
