We thank the author for the comments on our article1 and wish to clarify a few points, recognizing that Figure  1 (in the original article) may oversimplify the mechanisms leading to stereopsis. We appreciate the author's description of the Titmus test in comparison with polarized stereoscopic movie glasses to create the illusion of an image in 3-dimensional space.
